Faux Inspiration

The theme for the upcoming Polymer Clay Artists Guild of Etsy April challenge is faux techniques. I needed a little inspiration to warm up to this challenge, so I looked for some examples to get me going. Of course, there is never a shortage of creative and skilled artists at Etsy. I found a few great examples of faux pieces and I created a treasury for all to see. Aren't they wonderful!

Well, I guess I'll have to get to work now. Enjoy these in the meantime.

Another Great Challenge

The theme for the March challenge was cane work. The winning entry is this amazing set of pomegranate cane work by Cristalline.



This gorgeous Rainbow Suncather by polymerclaycreations took second place.



Needless to say, as always there were so many fantastic entries as always. Coming in third, fourth and fifth, all within one vote of each other, were Rainstick by divadea, Madame Butterfly by beetreebyme, and Winter? I Scoff! by cocojaneandme.

Amazing Canes!

Once again, another great challenge from the Polymer Clay Artists Guild of Etsy (PCAGOE). The theme for March is canework. Here is a collection of cane work challenge entries.
