I love the look of Tibetan jewelry made with amber beads. I think I have procrastinated long enough, so I finally decided to try my hand at some faux amber beads. I used the technique from
Tory Hughes' book, "Polymer: The Chameleon Clay".
Here are my first attempts:

My next attempt will be for a deeper color, and perhaps more uniform bead. Although, I do like the antique worn looking bead too.
Suggestions? Comments?
Thanks.

Marcia, as always, these are gorgeous. I can already see them hanging from something beautiful you've made.

Thank you Wolodo-Design, and Ernie. I'm not sure yet what I will do with these. In the meantime, I think I'll make some more beads in a few differnet shades.
